Robinson Addition & Rooftop Garden

Architect for an 1,062 s.f. 2 story addition to an existing 1830 s.f. 1970’s ranch house. The addition included opening the existing living room to a new kitchen, changing the existing Kitchen into a Utility Room, Adding a new lower level Master Suite and a rooftop garden with a 3 story stair tower/thermal chimney connecting the levels. The addition shields the original structure from the afternoon sun and combined with HVAC and insulation upgrades to the original home has resulted in Utility bills that have remained the same, despite the addition of 1062 s.f. of heated and cooled area. Completed in 2010
