Project Status: Completed in 1995

Project Description: 3400 s.f. 2-story stone and cedar farmhouse designed to utilize passive heating and cooling concepts with a full length porch shading the western side of the home and an outdoor breakfast area shaded by a shade trellis. Additional energy saving features include: a standing seam metal roof, radiant barrier decking, R-30 batt insulation, double pane double hung low-e windows, cross ventilation in each room, a seer 12 HVAC system and 2 fireplaces with outside combustion air and heat re-circulation. Low VOC paints and stains and hardwood and tile floors help enhance indoor air quality. 1994, 1995
